Global Warming!
Global Warming!!!
Hokkaido’s Early Snow
- The Earth is getting warmer due to carbon dioxide emissions from all over the world.
- Global Warming is unstoppable as awareness of it is not enough.
- Even so, the petroleum companies are keeping all those alternative resources to make sure that the petroleum industry does not collapse. This is all of selfish desires.
- Giving evidence, Global Warming causes the climate to change greatly. Recently this year, Shanghai, China had one of their worst winters in 2008, with extreme snowfall which was rare and low temperatures. Yet, Shanghai’ 2008 summer also turn extreme in rising temperatures to 35oC. My Conclusion, the Countries in temperate regions will have harsh winters and hot summers. This disrupts the ecosystem and will continue if we do not do anything.
- Year 2008, Tokyo also had snow, which was extremely rare and even Hokkaido started snowing badly by mid- November when it is not suppose too.
- Conclusion: We will get harsh cold winters and hot summers.

Hokkaido Winter 2007
I have been to hokkaido from 25 Nov 2007 to 1 dec 2007.it is a beautiful place in Hokkaido.i reach chitose to a temperature of 12oC.i went to lake toya on the first day and stayed in a hot spring hotel.it was very windy that it feels colder than 5oC.There was no snow yet.
The next day, snow came down. i head to the Noboribetsu Jigokani Valley.Snow falls as i walk .
it was a beautiful sight. ialso went to MT Showa and the bear park. The bears there put their hands together and it is very funny seeing them begging for food. After that i went on to Asahikawa. Along the way , the landscape changes white.Everywhere is white and all snow over . i was overjoyed by the sight of so much snow.I reach there to a visit of sake museum. After that, i went to Asahikawa Ramen Village. It was about -3 to -6oC . Snow continus dropping from the day i reach there till the next day
Next day, I went to the foot of MT Kurodake but unfortunately , i was not able to go up the mountain.
It was too windy with too much snow that i cannot go up the cable car.Brrr... so cold:-9oC. After that i went to see the Sounkyo Watefalls.IT was too cold and windy. But the landscape was good, especially the snow.Maybe -12oC.After that i went to see Lake Mashu and Lake Akan.Suprinsingly there were no more snow.Lake Akan was beautiful!
Next day , i went to Sapporo.I passed by the mountain ranges, to find out more snow. it was there where i have most fun with my family of snowball fights.
Finally, i reach Sapporo. No more snow but a couple of flurries in the night when i came out to see the beautiful lights in Sapporo , which is the Sapporo White Illimunation.Really beautiful.
The next day, i went to otaru to take photos of its canal. not much of a snow sight at 4oC.
At the end, i find the trip enjoyable and flew back to Singapore with wonderful memories.
